I think it may be a Short-tailed Weasel, Mustela erminea, but not positive- didn't get great views of the full body/tail! March 17 and it's still in full winter pelage (seasonal colour fur)- it was dry where I saw it first, though after (second vid, coming shortly) it was scampering over the snow behind the trees. Now it will be well camouflaged again, as we have new snow coming over the next few days! This is the first time I've had a good sighting of one, and only pics/vids I've ever got- I've seen one dash across the road while in the car, I saw the last couple of inches of one disappearing into the floor in Mom's old place- it found some hole under the furnace and was coming up to steal cat food! and we see tracks in the snow sometimes- lots of prey here, tons of squirrels, voles etc. Music: Sonatina No 2 in F Major Allegro - Joel Cummins
