Usually I don't play with a slide. Hard to say that I really can. It's too wide, rubbing all the strings while two or three would be enough.

Don't ask how I've came up with this, but for me the ordinary metal buttplug (the smallest one) turn up to be much more handy. It's like a cursor or a stylus.

So here's an improvised solo I've played with a metal buttplug. It's only about fourth time I ever did this.

Try it for yourself. These plugs are cheap.
