Pikuniku-style feet for a 3D avatar!

I absolutely adored the legs in Pikuniku, so when it came time to add feet to a third-person game prototype, I decided to implement a similar system for the foot placement.

The feet are disconnected from the body, so they don't directly inherit the character's position. Instead, they independently use the character's position and velocity to try and anticipate where in space they should be landing. This gives them a kind of inertia relative to the character's motion.

Unfortunately, the silliness of the gait doesn't really fit with any of the game ideas I have right now, so I need to rethink one thing or another!
