Minneapolis is currently in the process of amending the Primary Zoning code (aka what land uses are allowed in each zoning area) which is a little different (but related to) the Built Form zoning. On April 24 the Planning Commission was voting on what changes to recommend to City Council. I decided to tell a personal story about home hunting in Minneapolis, focusing on the issue of allowing small-scale commercial uses in neighborhoods. There are a lot of other issues at play as well, so check out this podcast episode (start at 26:39 for the Minneapolis section) to learn about everything that Neighbors for More Neighbors wants to see. https://streets.mn/2023/04/15/rezoning-for-complete-neighborhoods/
