Originally posted to Neocities 2024-10-31 Surprise ran into a surprise-dropped Halloween Escape the Fate song that showed up at midnight, and immediately had to check it out and recorded myself doing so. Also, I fucked up the audio mixing; I need to play more with the OBS settings because I had to turn stuff down so it didn't totally blast my headphones, but it ended up too quiet in the recording so I had to actually go into a program to push it up.

It's good. It's fun. Craig's getting real good at screaming and otherwise doing multiple vocal deliveries and transition (or if the deeper screams aren't Craig, kudos to whoever they are). It's nice seeing the harder / multigenre stuff we previously only saw with Dead Rabbitts and Craig's outside of EtF collabs getting re-integrated; I think between this and Out Of The Shadows they've finally really figured out how they work as a band and what works for them, and how to combine the This War Is Ours / Ungrateful / self titled legacy with the styles that it's clear that Craig just likes doing, and that's really effective.
