A morning ride from the Aberdeen neighbourhood in Kamloops down Summit Dr., Xget’tem’ Trail, and downtown to Pedal Bros. Cycle Shop.

Certain sections of the video are sped up, and the middle sections that aren't sped up are to give an idea of what certain downhill sections look like in real time.

I had to slow right down for a short bit at the end of the long straight downhill part of Summit Dr. as the air temperature was about 0 and I wasn't wearing my hat I usually wear in cold weather - my head was aching a bit from the cold.

The actual ride time was 20 minutes - if things line up well with the lights I'm often door to door in just over 15 minutes. Distance is just under 8 KM.

The Xget’tem’ Trail is a multi-use path that connects downtown Kamloops with Sahali via Peterson Creek Park. I very often don't get to go as quickly down the trail as I did on this ride, I just got lucky with there being nobody on it at this time.
