The June 2025 MeshCentral Community Meeting showcased a blend of long-awaited features, cleanup efforts, and system improvements. Highlights include the introduction of DNS-based rules for IP allow/block lists, significant fixes to the modern web UI (like fullscreen behavior and translation bugs), and new system variables that bring dynamic data (e.g., relay sessions, version info) into the interface.
Major attention was given to the new Docker image system, which now supports on-the-fly config generation via environment variables—simplifying deployments for beginners. A future “full” Docker tag was teased, bundling all modules to eliminate runtime installations. Compression is now disabled by default to resolve issues with event streams and file transfers, while stale GitHub issues are now auto-managed using a bot. Other changes included enhanced IPv6 display, fixed AMT CSV imports, improved SQL dump error feedback, and new filtering options in the device search field (e.g., by connection type).
Community contributions remain strong, with translation improvements, smarter build handling, and discussions on embedding version awareness into agents for better traceability. Related links:
