“The Accessibility Calculator: Measuring Travel Time to Reach Public Services Across All Territories”

A tool and method developed on behalf of the Ministry of Transport to measure travel time needed to reach public services throughout the entire country. Built from existing datasets and open‑data sources (OpenStreetMap, GTFS), the calculator provides a fine‑grained network at the national scale.

🎯 Goal: To facilitate the identification of locations where citizens experience precarity in terms of low‑carbon mobility (public transport combined with soft modes such as walking and cycling).
