In this session Matthew K. Gold (CUNY) and Zach Davis (Cast Iron Coding) discuss the origins and various iterations of the open source publishing tool Manifold (https://manifoldapp.org/). Questions around leading with design and the place of community in defining a tool speaks to the larger ways in which Manifold has been at the forefront of CUNY's OER initiative.
