In this video I am showing the 40m MA12 tranceiver kit from http://www.qrpproject.de/ that I build recently. In the second half I am having a QSO with Yuri (UX4HX) from Poltava Ukraine. (1328 km).

The tranceiver is especially designed to fit the rules of the MAS contest (http://www.qrpcc.de) held anually by the qrpcc on the german ascensions day and which will be at the 5th of May in 2016.

It took me about 4 days to build the tranceiver, mainly because I did a with a resistor, and I had to figure out how to calibrate it properly. I used a hammond case instead of the original one, it is a tough fit near the frequency potentiometer but works fine.

The video was taken in the metalab hackspace (http://www.metalab.at) in Vienna. The antenna of the hackspaces radio station is a little tarheel located on the roof.
