A Superhero.. Lily.. hears her heartbeat in her ears and feels the disquieting rumble of the call.. the call that pulls her out of her secluded mountain dwelling and down into the Valley.. into the streets.. to fight for those who need her. She calls on ancient wisdom, passed down from the masters, and gleaned from the tomes of books that she's collected through the years. By day, she walks the streets of Shanghai, a surfboard over one shoulder and guitar over the other, crouching on her heels in the street or leaning inconspicuously against a wall of a tea shop to observe a game of Xiangqi.. unobserved until she pushes quietly off of the wall with her elbow, and crosses the room with fixed gaze, to sit opposite Hu Ronghua, the as yet unbeaten Grandmaster of Xiangqi.. Will she win?
