The Life of Riley was a radio comedy that starred William Bendix as the blundering Chester A. Riley. The show originally aired on the Blue Network (later known as ABC American Broadcasting Company) from January 16, 1944 to July 8, 1945. From September 8, 1945 until June 29, 1951 the program aired on NBC(radio). The Life of Riley became a TV show in the 1950's.
