A second part of my Liberty Caps guide. After a warm response to my first video and a lot of interesting questions, I decided to explore the topic of Liberty Caps more and make a second video. I hope this clears some of the common misconceptions and will help some of you to find what you are looking for. I am not responsible for anyone's actions nor I encourage to eat any kind of mushrooms. You are responsible for yourself.
I highly recommend everyone to watch the Fantastic Fungi documentary. It can give you a whole new look on the world of mushrooms and make you appreciate your findings much more.
Paul Stamets is an incredible person and a world renown mycologist. His vast knowledge, huge passion and easy to understand way of speaking will change your view of the mushrooms forever. It made wan't to know a lot more about the fungi and I intend to read, see and hear as much as I can about the mushroom kingdom. Any mushroom for that matter.
Paul Stamets lectures are a real treat to watch. He is like a Neil Degrasse Tyson of mycology.
I also highly recommend Paul Stamets book about psilocybin mushrooms of the world, called 'Psilocybin Mushrooms of the World'. This is an extremely important book, which will enable you to gain a lot of useful knowledge about identification, history, potency and other important things about the genus Psilocybe and inform you about the dangers of ingesting the wrong species. A must read to say the least!
