Although I'm in the bush 3-4 days a week all winter, and see signs of moose everywhere, this is my first sighting on the farm this winter! There were two of them, not too far from where I was collecting wood: I'd used the chainsaw, and gone through pulling the sled a couple of times not far from where they were. Once I noticed them (one soon disappeared into the willows) they just stood around for a long time- after some filming and still shots, I had to get back to work-- shortly after that they both trotted off across an open area into the mixed woods-- when I had no time to get the camera, of course! 😆 Music excerpt: In Memory of Jean Talon - by The Mini Vandals
