Collected public statements from Russian officials boasting about its overwhelming military capabilities which, as they believed, will lead to an almost instant victory of Ukraine. All these statements were made prior to the full-scale invasion, which exposed to incompetence and decay of Russian army. Prior to 2022 Russian officials and experts were dismissive of Ukraine and predicted its fall in a few days, including the phrase "2-3 days". now fiercely denied by Russians. Another Russian line of denial is that "no officials said that", but in 2014 Putin boasted about "two weeks to take Kiev".
