It snowed several times over the last few days- not a lot yet, but slowly building up ( a lot more today, maybe, we'll see how it ends!). Snow here means more work-we have a large area to shovel and sometimes dodgy driving, especially on the back roads. However it also means easier hauling of wood from the bush by sled, and most importantly it is a crucial part of our annual water cycle, especially for recharging wetlands.
