Inkscape Explained: Text, Word Formatting and Installing Fonts

time2 yr agoview0 views

I'll be going over all of the various ways you can use text in Inkscape, whether it be setting defaults, kerning, morphing text, warping the wording to take the form of various vector shapes for your design and so on. I'll also be addressing how to go about installing a font you've downloaded so you can use it in Inkscape.

This sort of thing is good to know if you're ever designing something that is copy heavy, like flyers or brochures.

This tutorial is for Inkscape version 0.48 and is intended for learning how to use the software at the beginner level.
