This is my year end video for 2022 to go into the numbers of how easy is it to be a Free and Open Source programmer using direct funding from users?

The answer is: it's complicated. The funding is going well and growth is very strong in 2022, but offsetting private client work has resulted in a net decrease in pay overall. This is sort of expected as I move from being mostly a private contractor doing some inkscape paid work, to being a paid inkscape developer with some other client work on the side.
