I played my first proper game of cricket yesterday for a few years, despite only having one arm (tennis elbow in main arm) and one eye (stye). What’s kept me from playing for most of the last 24 years is the one leg but fortunately that held out so I didn’t go full Nelson! I thought I had managed to run their best* batter out with this piece of fielding yesterday but the umpire gave it not out, saying it was extremely close and probably required a third umpire review.

Opened the batting too but after a couple of nice boundaries I was caught for 10, hitting the ball straight to the man at point.

Wish I could have bowled (my main skill) but throwing and bowling are impossible with the arm at the mo.
