Sure, you could use a backpack for hauling all of your stuff on a bike. But backpacks can get heavy and make you sweaty. Besides, there's a better way.

Here's a short guide to using simple tools to haul stuff, from a bottle of wine on a rack to your lunch in a basket to your computer in a pannier to your neighbour's couch on a cargo bike. We hope by the end you'll think that bikes are a little more practical for hauling stuff than most people think.
