I bought some hot chili oil for birdseed to keep the squirrels out of the feeder. As you can see, it doesn't work too well on this particular squirrel. I did notice that after eating he was rubbing his mouth on a stump and with his paws. It must bother the outside of his mouth. I plan on making my own with cayenne pepper and soybean oil. It's harmless to birds.
