Nothing much happening here, but imagine this enclosure with its naturalistic design to be part of North American mountainous forest. Unfortunately it isn't, but when there is good environmental enrichment (hidden food at different spots and different times) these bears have a nice place don't you think. The two grizzly bears swap enclosures with a Ussuri brown bear (Ursus arctos lasiotus) on a regular basis to keep their environment novel and stimulating. And hey, there's indeed two of them – make sure you watch until the end of the video to see bear number two. These two grizzly bears brothers came from the wild in Idaho, outside of Yellowstone Park, where they were taught by their mother to raid campsites for improperly stored food and garbage. They had to be caught and removed, so, they ended up in San Diego Zoo.
