Every year I run a unique and amazing adventure through the Australian Outback, with the help of Air Adventure Australia. The tour is a mix of wildlife, wild landscapes, wild foods and wild skies. We shoot some star trails, indulge in the some great campfire cooking and enjoy a few luxury stays along the way. Mostly we simply enjoy immersing in the art of photography and share a journey that you'll remember for a lifetime.

All the footage here was captured on the new LUMIX GH6. It was my first time using this camera and what a joy it was to capture 4K at 120fps. The birds were especially joyous to watch back in slow-motion and stunning clarity. 4K changes everything. The footage was shot in Vlog with a range of recording modes. After two weeks with the GH6 by my side I feel I'm ready to get the most out of this rig in future :)

The final scene is a star trail captured above Uluru. This year I did my trail as a portrait aspect ratio, which doesn't crop so nice to 16:9 :) So I've put an older one from an earlier tour here instead. I'm saving the GH6 star trail for my Instagram reels instead!
