GO Transit Barrie Line (South)

time1 yr agoview1 views

2X Speed

A ride on the GO transit Barrie Line traveling northbound during the evening rush with a south-facing view out of Union, the trip goes from Union Station to the soon to be closed York University GO.

Notice some key points

-The Kitchener GO train which we run parallel to after it departs five minutes prior to us.

  • The Southbound UP express train which passes between us as we are heading up the Weston Corridor.

  • The long pause we take at the Davenport Diamond, which is to be replaced with a large overpass in the future.

  • The new Downsview Park station replacing York University station on the TTC Subway Line One extension opening December 17, 2017.
