November 2021. This was the experience that made me realize what I really wanted to do in my life was cave dive.

This is the ballroom at Ginnie Springs. It's a cavern, and a unique one in that it's very shallow and it's accessible to people who aren't cavern certified. I was there with my instructor on a weekend trip after a planned wreck charter off the NC coast was blown out by weather.

This gave me my first taste of cave diving and at the end of the dive I knew I wanted to pursue cave in my diving career.
