A walkthrough of the Gathering Pages art exhibition that happened on Feb 14-16 2025 at Cambridge Artworks. I made paper from stinging nettles in the summer of 2024 at a residency at Cambridge Artworks, and invited people to select pages and to record their thoughts in pictures or words, thinking broadly about paper and our relationship to it. I have bound all the contributions have been bound into two artist books, called Gathering Pages. The exhibition continues with other work I have made on the nettle paper, including a sketchbook in which I am collecting patterns and textures, a series of Lino prints, and a series of monoprints called “Black Windows, White Bombs”.
