I looked at the Garuda Mate Ultimate edition last year and came away underwhelmed. However, Garuda has been getting so much love recently I deciced to take another look.

And I'm glad I did. Power, Beauty and ease of use is what the latest editions are all about, and there's been a range of improvements.

The welcome screen has been cleaned up, ufw now replaces firewalld, and the look and feel has been given the works.

This is now a very very good looking distro, and I'd be tempted to use it myself.

Was I wrong the first time? No, but possibly a bit harsh. But now I can't deny that this is shaping up to be a great distro.
