This intro is taken from Full House Season 5, but with the help of Demucs and a little bit of audio editing magic, I made it sound nearly identical to the shorter Season 1 intro that plays on Japanese television. I’m pretty impressed with how it turned out. I do not enjoy television, but Full House is one of the few shows I love watching – (don’t judge me). I love the cheesiness. I love the sappy heartfelt moments. I love the family values. I don’t like every single episode, and I don’t like some of the actors on the English version of the show, but I don’t let that take away from my overall enjoyment of it. I think it’s a show that could almost fit in on TV today if you cut and pasted it into the modern age. There are some scenes in the show that make it obvious it was released in the late 80s/early 90s, but I don’t notice that very much. Here’s an interesting story. I didn’t really get into Full House until I was about 17-years-old – (I’m 24 now). Actually, when I was a kid, I was terrified to watch Full House because of the theme song. I think it was Jesse Frederick’s raspy voice that freaked me out, and it was the chorus part of the song that freaked me out the most. Whatever the case maybe, every time the song reached the chorus, I’d run screaming and crying into my Mom or Dad’s arms. Imagine a 6-year-old blind kid running into his parents room, head leaned over on the right shoulder and his left hand covering his left ear while he yanked the door open with his right to get away from a song, and that’s pretty much what you got. Anyway, the song doesn’t bother me directly anymore, unless I happen to be having an anxiety attack at that moment. Anyway, I hope you all enjoy the video. If the video part doesn’t align with the audio properly, remember that I can’t see that. Please do inform me of the problem if there is one, as well as how I can fix it.
