I ran into this guy out for a walk on the trails near where we live! I have to say, once you start having rabbits as pets in your home, you really don't look at wild hares the same way. Instead of just some weird little animal, it becomes like a weird little animal that could've been your pet, if things had been different. Don't grab wild hares as pets though! They're often as ill-adapted to it as domestic buns would be to living outside, as Dmitri and Otis could tell you.
