An update on the St. John’s Wart planting. ---Fm 2: Due to many excuses these poor plants stayed in their nursery pots and miraculously stayed alive through late June and July blasting heat. ---Fm 3: We put a very thick layer of Cyprus mulch to help retain moisture and encourage root growth. ---Fm 4: They look good from a distance. ---Fm 5: Bush on the right wasn’t affected as much and looks like it is thriving well. ---Fm 6: Bush on left reminds of the sayings of crazy haired children. ---Fm 7: A closer look on the left reveals plenty of new bright green growth. We’ll see how this experiment goes.
