In summer, the trees on my acreage and the farm beyond mean no view of sunset- anyway, I'm rarely outside late enough to see it- after early evening in the warm months, I surrender the space to the mosquitoes (this year wasn't bad, plus we had a visiting kitty, and we'd go out in evening to be sure he was safe!). As the days get shorter, the sun moves farther south and I can see it across the neighbours' land with views towards the mountains. Plus- my time outside- still till 6pm or later (as is the sunset) doing outside work- that time will get earlier and earlier as the sunset gets earlier! These are my first foray into shorts- which seem very popular these days, though I'm not generally a fan...lol-- a bit of a trip making them with a DSLR and free video editors...lol
