On 15 February 2025 Russian marines 155. Brigade conducted an assault operation using a number of armoured vehicles and infantry in Kursk oblast'. The assault was directed at positions held by Ukraine 47. Brigade "Magura". Interestingly, many of the Russian vehicles were moving under Soviet flags. The assault was stopped when the column reached densely mined fields and swarms of FPV drones which inflicted heavy casualties on the Russian forces.
