The Faderfox EC4 is a small boutique MIDI/USB controller with 16 rotary encoders. I am showing here how I update the firmware from my initial v1.01 to the current v2.00, which promises to double the encoder resolution from 36 to 72 pulses per rotation. On the way, we see how to dump the firmware to the box under Linux.
