A local man describes and explosion at Ryazan Power Station, also called Novomichurinsk Power Station, ithe fifth largest power station in Russia, with an installed capacity of 3,130 MW. After a series of violent Russian rocket attacks on Ukrainian power stations and hotels on 26-27 August, it's possible that Ukraine decided to retaliate and discourage Russia from targeting any civilian objects.
