At the end of the Endymion Parade on Saturday night, all the floats go into the Superdome, where there has been a party already going on with people at tables in formalware and bands appearing on stage. I jumped off my Odin float after going through, went back into the dome and took this video.

The interior is huge and all flat space on the floor and upper levels are covered with large round tables. The exception is an oval track where the floats come in from outside, go around and then exit. The stands are covered with people, most in the distance appear very small. From the floats, costumed riders throw trinkets, toys, shirts and collectibles. The floats are brightly lighted. Laser lights from the sides of the venue pan up down and side to side. Music blasts from the stage. Thousands of celebrants scream for "throws" from the floats. It is pandemonium.
