I wanted to create a wireless monitor for my GoPro Hero 6 using VLC on a Raspberry Pi but immediately ran into issues concerning Wi-Fi on the newer GoPro models (basically the GoPro Hero 4 and up). I decided to make a video anyway talking through the problems I ran into to see if maybe others had different solutions or to perhaps save people some time.
