It has been a while that I tried Star Citizen. We got a new Launcher (2.0.2), I'm nowadays on Fedora 39, GPU is now a RX6700XT and the CPU a Ryzen 7 7700. With the new Neuralnet Tracker plugin (AI haha) for OpenTrack we get head tracking without annoying IR LEDs or reflecting stripes just by reading the webcam video feed. The data is parsed live with the ONNX Runtime which is fast enough to try head tracking without a dedicated head tracker. And all that on a Linux PC. Took some fiddling but the concept still works. What a time to be alive.
