Months back, I sacrificed an innocent VCR timer in the name of scientific experimentation. From its lifeless body, I extracted a vacuum fluorescent display, and an idea for a project germinated in the dark crevices of my mind.

As that idea grew and mutated, it became the Death Clock -- a timepiece that tells you not the hour of the day, but rather, when your precious life will expire.
