Crystals and Clouds: Pt2 Second March Snow Day

time4 mo agoview4 views

Continuing on March 10- after some brutal shovelling- we are used to light, dry, powder snow here, this wet heavy stuff we only get on occasion, usually in fall or spring. Not a huge amount, but too much to leave with the forecast calling for some colder days- and indeed melting only happened where the ground was previously bare and/or close to buildings, under big spruce trees etc. The sky remained active with passing patches of low squally clouds which were mostly just a bit windy, but later on we got a flurry or two, no accumulation, fortunately. Some pretty clouds, though. There's a little bit in the middle where the sound speeds up for a moment- sorry- couldn't figure out why, it was fine in the editor, and couldn't fix it without starting over....
