Full band (canned drums, though) cover version of My Dying Heart by Dry Kill Logic.
Mainly meant as a proof-of-concept for the whole recording/filming/mixing/editing-workflow, and boy did it proof the concept for me :D
The video side of things is still new to me, so my editing/grading workflow consisted of turning random knobs until I liked what I saw :D
Equipment used:
- LTD EC-1000 → DIY Tubescreamer → Laney GH100S → Orange PPC212 → SM57 → interface
- LTD F-404 → interface
- Vocal cords → SM7b → interface
- Slate SSD5 drum samples (next covers will hopefully have real drums)
- Video shot on Fairphone FP5 (turned out surprisingly decent I think!)
- Audio recorded/mixed in Reaper
- Video edited in DaVinci Resolve
