An afternoon ride from Pedal Bros. Cycle Shop back home to lower Aberdeen via 2nd Ave., St. Paul St., 4th Ave., "5th Ave.", the Xget’tem’ Trail, Summit Dr., Hugh Allan Dr. and Sifton Ave.

Certain sections of the video are sped up where the climb and ride speed are pretty steady and perhaps a bit monotonous. However, a good part of the idea for posting this ride is to show what a ride up the Xget’tem’ Trail can be like on an electric recumbent trike.

The trike involved is a TerraTrike E.V.O. - It's a very nice machine with plenty of assist for the ugliest of cruising / commuting climbs.

The ride time for this trek is anywhere from 25-30 minutes, depending on my energy levels and how long stops for street crossings & traffic lights are.

The Xget’tem’ Trail is a multi-use path that connects downtown Kamloops with Sahali via Peterson Creek Park. The trail was so needed that hundreds of people were making use of it daily even before it's official opening on Nov. 5, 2018.
