A former police lieutenant who abused his authority and ran a criminal ring was released early after serving only a few months of his sentence that was supposed to be as long as 20 years. Luke Davis and other officers were convicted of felonies for stealing from people whose property they raided, in what amounted to home invasion robberies committed by cops.
