This sort of abuse by police is common. It happens every day, across this country. Most of the time, the police get away with it.
When Colin Kaepernick took a knee protest this very sort of police brutality and racism, those who were opposed to civil rights progress tried to say that his silent peaceful protest was disrespectful to the soldiers. That is nonsense. What is actually disrespectful to the soldiers is this sort of violent attack upon this Army Lieutenant as he is wearing his uniform and committing no crime.
