Since September 2024 Russian drone operators in Kherson oblast' started unprecedented terror campaign targeted specifically against Ukrainian civilians in Kherson, Antonovka and other locations in the area. In an unprecedented step, they started posting videos from the attacks openly on their channels, clearly demonstrating they are fully aware they're attacking civilian cars or even pedestrians walking around the town. In one post Russians announced civilians must report Ukrainian army positions to "buy immunity" from the drone hits, in another post they declared a "red zone" in most of the town and stated "any car in the zone will be targeted". The song playing in the background in the first clip is an old Russian pop hit "Nogi-nogi" by Diskoteka Avaria, praising beauty of female legs, a clear ironic reference to the traumas received by the civilians from the drone hit. This campaign was so disturbing that it even attracted attention of world media, such as BBC.
