The Rideau Canal skateway is a huge part of Ottawa's identity, and after a few challenging years of not opening or opening for only a short while, we've had some proper cold weather this year and the Canal opened yesterday for skating. Our City's had some challenges and the relief that this, at least, seems like normal times is palpable!
