Pt 3 of the pollinators on catkins, series. Together with (some) Aspens, a few of the willows have opened flowers on their catkins (many more to come, both other individual plants, and other species). Amazingly the honeybees are able to find these sometimes widely separated bushes and trees( I haven't seen any native bees, yet, though they won't be long when we get some more warm weather). I'll be making a blog post to pull together these several videos of bees and catkins, plus more pics flies of flies, bees, and the surroundings--probably take another day or two after posting this (April 16).
