Bees eating sugar water at a home made bee feeder in the forest. Bees are intelligent. Every time it rains, the feeder fills with rain water and the sugar-water becomes diluted. I always go out the morning after it rains to dump the rain water. The bees posted a scout at the feeder. She wasn't drinking the rain water. She was waiting when I arrived. As soon as I picked up the sugar-water container and dumped the water from the dish, she left. Within a minute, bees began to arrive to drink. They realize that I am there to bring sugar.
