Two bee feeders that I made with hundreds of happy bees buzzing around and drinking sugar water. The jars have holes in the lid and they are turned upside down into a shallow dish. Interconnecting toy snowflake shaped plastic pieces create a gap between the lid and the dish. They are also colorful to help attract bees. I have been keeping these feeders filled since February. I hope a swarm will move into the hive boxes I made for them.
When I found this clearing last winter, it had old trash everywhere. All of the old wood on top and under the hive boxes was already out there. There were bottles and cans and discarded camping fuel containers, old clothes, food wrappers and an old junk tent.
