In this installment of Audio Archeology, an answering machine mostly records a woman's phone conversations instead of messages left for her. At one point, her daughter leaves her a message telling her something is wrong with her machine. She also hears some news from John that shocks her.

Southern California cities West Covina and Rancho Cucamonga are mentioned. So is a movie, apparently in theaters at the time, that is simply referred to as "Sleeping." (Sleeping Beauty? While You Were Sleeping?)
