Artix Linux: Arch Goodness Without Systemd

time5 mo agoview5 views

So you like Arch but dislike systemd? No problem, Artix could be for you.

If you're looking for an Arch based distro with a different init system - runnit, openrc or S6, Artix has them all.

In this video I take the OpenRC community GTK version for a spin (mate and lxde).

It's a decent fork of Arch for those who dislike systemd, but for me personally there's little reason to move. That's simply because systemd isn't a big issue for me at the moment. However, I remain to be convinced otherwise :-)

I hope you enjoy the video :-)
